Weltrend Reports 2016 Consolidated Financial Statements

| Hsinchu, Taiwan, March 27, 2017 – Weltrend Semiconductor (TAIEX: 2436) today announced financial results for 2016 with consolidated revenue of NT$2.05 billion, net income of NT$141.77 million, and diluted earnings per share of NT$0.64. |
| Compare to 2015, 2016 revenue increased 15.1%, net income increased 16.4%, and diluted EPS increased 16.4%. All figures were prepared in accordance with TIFRS on a consolidated basis. |
| Gross margin for the year was 25%, operating margin was 4%, and net profit margin was 7%. |
